"Ripple" Coarse Black Japanese Pottery Tea Cup Celadon Glazed Interior 45ml

This small wonder has a series of concentric rings on the outside reminiscent of ripples from a stone thrown into a calm lake. It fits into your hand and stays comfortably while you empty it into your eager mouth with minimal effort and tilt. The black coarse Japanese pottery exterior stays cooler than typical porcelain cups and gives a good grip even when wet or moist. On the inside, this gorgeous little cup surprises with a porcelain-like celadon glaze, its smooth blue interior hue complementing perfectly the coarse dark outer vessel. The size is very well suited for a tasting or even travel cup. It is wider than it is tall, so it cools nicely but still "hugs" the liquor sufficiently to keep it warm enough for you to enjoy.  This is the Wolf's favorite cup.
