Known for its dark, rich color and its complex flavor, Shou Pu'er is a fully fermented tea made from assamica tea leaves in Yunnan, China.  Shou Pu'er owes its rich color and depth of taste to the pile fermentation process used to produce it.

Acala Tea Co. sources its Shou Pu'er teas directly from growers and producers in Yunnan, China. Our teas are crafted with pride and love by indigenous Bulang producers in Mangjing Village, Jingmai Mountain, Yunnan.  We like to say that between the old forest tea trees and your cup, there are only three hands - theirs, ours, and yours.
