"Razzleliza" Botanical Blend
Raspberry leaf was first introduced to me by my friend's sister, Liza. She told me about raspberry leaf's multiple health benefits, especially for women. When I did my research, I was quite impressed with this little crinkled leaf.
Raspberry leaf is a protective plant that has many health benefits. Raspberry leaf contains numerous vitamins (vitamins B, C, E, calcium, magnesium, and zinc), antioxidant compounds (bioflavonoids and tannins), and supports the digestive and uterine* systems. The leaf contains frangine, which tones and tightens pelvic muscles and reduces menstrual cramps. It is a natural diuretic, reducing water retention, cleansing the blood and detoxifying the body. It relieves sore throat discomfort, mouth ulcers and gum disease.
Razzleliza is a combination of raspberry leaf and citrusy botanicals, like lemongrass, lemon verbena and orange peel. The flavor is lemony sweet, with linden softness on the palate and a light mint finish.
Lemongrass and lemon verbena aid in digestion and prevent gas formation and bloating, ease colds, fevers and chills, and rose decreases inflammation, aids in relaxation, and helps with skin conditions.
Enjoy hot or cold. See Brewing Instructions.
*Raspberry leaf can have estrogen-like effects and is not for people under the age of 18. Because raspberry leaf stimulates uterine contractions and prepares the body for labor and delivery, it is not recommended for women during pregnancy unless otherwise advised by a treating obstetrician.

Brewing Recommendations
Brewing Recommendations
Serving Size*: 4g (3 tsp) per 150ml purified water.
Ideal Brewing Vessel: Glass tea pot with infuser; porcelain or ceramic tea pot with strainer; tea sachets
Western Style Steeping: Boil water to 212F/100C. Steep for 2 minutes before pouring through a strainer into a tea cup or pitcher. Can be infused two more times, extending steeping time with each subsequent brew.
Sachet Brewing: Add 2-4g (1-2 tsp) of chamomile to a tea sachet and place inside a mug filled with 212F/100C water. Steep for 2 minutes.
Cold Brew: Place 4g (2 tsp) of chamomile in a pitcher and fill with 450ml water. Refrigerate for a few hours or overnight. Use a strainer when serving.
*Adjust the brew time, temperature and leaf volume to fit your taste: A lower temperature increases vegetal flavor; a shorter brewing time decreases astringency; and a lower volume of leaves reduces bitterness.
