"Heart Opener Rooibos" Botanical
Heart Opener Rooibos is a botanical blend of heart-opening cacao nibs and cacao-dusted rose petals. Cacao gives the sensation of the heart opening, filling with love, and opens our connection with ourselves and others. Rose and cacao are herbal aphrodisiacs, bringing about feelings of pleasure and bliss. Coconut nibs and heart-shaped strawberries sweeten the palate, vanilla and rose add pleasure to the mood, and ginger and spice warm the body.
Cacao contains theobromine, a substance that is released into the blood stream and increases blood flow to the brain. Focus and awareness are piqued by the ample oxygen provided by the abundant blood flow. Theobromine positively influences mood and state of alertness.
In addition to having a positive effect on moods, cacao is known to have high levels of antioxidants, anti-inflammatory agents, and vitamins and minerals.
Heart Opener Rooibos can be enjoyed at any time of day, but it makes a great segue from dinner to bedtime. Infuse it as a hot chocolate-type beverage, or top it with steamed and frothed milk for a heart opening latte (see Brewing Recommendations).
